35 degrees Celsius

I had no idea that it was that hot that day, if I'd knew, I would have stayed at home and played computer game in the air con room.

We went to the pool, but before we reached, we were already almost burnt. The pool was crowded but cool. The main attraction for the kids is the water-slide playground. Isabel has always been afraid to go on the kiddy slide, it took me a while before she agreed to slide down. After that, she found it so fun, she almost went on the second time... almost.

The interesting thing about the day was after lunch when we saw MacDonald was having a grand opening. They were inviting kids to have a kite painting competition, its just the kind of things that kids like.

We didn't win any prizes, but the fun of doing it together was memorable.

But its more fun flying it.

Watching the kite get picked up by the wind, floating higher and higher towards the sky, it was nice. The sun beating down onto our skin was really hot, but we didn't mind. We just watched in amazement that our little paper kite that properly cost $0.20 could fly so well and easy.

Its been years since I've flew a kite. This could be my new hobby.
