Our Ah Boy drools...

This is ah boy at 6.5 months old.
He is teething at this moment, and he drools a lot ( really alot, just like a leaking tap!).
Only time when he is not drooling is when he is asleep.
You would'nt believe the number of bibs i have at home... easily twenty pieces!
We got to change his bib every hourly....
The above bib was given by a close friend, it comes with a tie sew onto the bib, COOL Right!

I am a Prefect... Hear me ROAR!!!

Last year, probably because of her good behavior, Isabel was appointed as the class monitor. This year, she's the School Prefect.

Last week she came back with a shinning green prefect badge and a big wide grin on her face. I know its what she always wanted ever since the first time she saw her school Prefect helping teachers to maintain order in the assembly hall.

But since her receiving of the title, she is rather stressed-out. Although she is not the expressive type, but I could tell by the things that she speaks of and the anxiety on her face.

Seriously, I've spoken to her about this added responsibility, if she can take this extra challenge. She wants to do it. But I've also warned her that if I noticed any signs that says otherwise, I'll pull the plug for her.

Laughing Baby

Yesterday, Jared was 6 months old.

He is a big boy now, but no matter how I look at him, it still seems only days ago that I watched him popped out into this world.

He now weighs a little over 8 kg, started eating cereal, actually loves it.
He loves to watch TV, loves to watch her 2 sisters clown around him, loves to watch the traffic out the window.

Can't wait to see him start crawling...

Jared's first dip

I remember bringing Isabel for her first swim when she was 4 months old, Ally was almost 5 months if I recall correctly. Jared is coming to six months soon and has not seen a pool yet.

The two had different reactions: Isabel was ok after 2 dips, but Jared was grouchy after the first.

But I know, as they grew older, the swimming pool is a “love-hate” relationship to them.  They are always excited to go to the swimming pool, but they couldn’t let go of the fear of water.

My older one has become much better swimming by herself, but the younger girl still cling to me like a monkey on a coconut tree.

 

我的车被 “TOW” 了!

There goes my car… on the first day of 2010… Towed to the workshop because the the power steering fluid leaked.

We just had breakfast at Jalan Kayu, as I was driving into the express way, I felt the steering wheels started to strain, it didn’t take long before I realized that the power steering was out and I had a hard time turning it to the side.

I stopped at a car park near Pasir Ris Park and inspected it while the kids played in the playground area. I then spotted the leaking of the fluid under the car.

My friend came soon and helped called a tow truck to have the car towed to his regular car workshop for checking.

Sigh… But thank God it didn’t happen while we were driving it in Malaysia.
